Problem 1: Your skin is looking dull and tired
Homemade Face Mask Recipe for Glowing Skin: Turmeric and Honey Mask
This is a truly lovely homemade face mask for getting your glow on!
Turmeric is a spice that is not only wonderfully healing to eat, it’s also used a lot in India for its skin-brightening properties.
Turmeric is rich anti-inflammatories and anti-oxidants, so it is soothing on the skin. However, be warned: if you are fair-skinned, turmeric can cause temporary staining (which can last a couple of hours).
What you need: ½ teaspoon of turmeric, 2 tablespoons of plain Greek yogurt and 1 teaspoon of honey raw is best- it’s a bit more expensive but worth it for its healing properties.
Processed honey has a lot of its nutrients removed during the heating process. You can find raw honey from Amazon or in health food shops such as Holland and Barrett.
Method
Mix the ingredients together and apply to your face. Leave on for about 20 minutes, then remove with lukewarm water and a dark cloth to avoid staining.
